Maundy Thursday Service

Get Directions

#var:page_name# cover

Derived from the Latin word mandatum, meaning "commandment," Maundy refers to the commands Jesus gave his disciples at the Last Supper: to love with humility by serving one another. We will celebrate this event with the stories of our Judeo/Christian tradition, communion, and a washing of each other’s hands as a sign of service. Our soup will be served within the context of the service. Our time will conclude with a quiet reflection of Jesus’ experience in the Garden of Gethsemane before his arrest, and we will gather afterwards for dessert.
