The I Be Me Community is based in i.b.mee.’s Empowerment Education framework or I Be Me Process, coaching methodologies and our research-based “I Be Me Process” that meets students where they are and gives them the best chance of reaching their full potential in school and life.
The Early Empowerment Lab is the first phase of our 21st-century Empowerment Education W.E.L.L. Kids NOW™ Preschool, Kindergarten, and center – a full system of care including wellness, empowerment, leadership and learning in the new paradigm of education.
Our methodologies allow children to individually progress with their own learning so they feel confident and create powerful beliefs of positive self-worth. The Empowerment Education philosophy allows children to move through challenges building self-regulation and resilience, and to develop life skills and a life long love for themselves, others and learning. Our play-based, student-centered learning experiences promotes self-responsibility, intrinsic motivation, cooperation, self-leadership, social skills, emotional intelligence, communication, respect, awareness, wellness, self-love, mindfulness, citizenship, creativity, healthy living, and life readiness skills. We know young people thrive in a safe, supportive, fun environment where they are free to express their feelings, thoughts, and interests and are mirrored their brilliance.
When students are taught in a safe, supportive and empowered partnership environment by connected adults, feelings of true success and wellness no matter their life circumstances become the norm. Their daily existence becomes a process of living what is really important to them; a place of experiencing more freedom, confidence, joy and purpose, as opposed to feeling the pressure of having to “be more”, “be better”, “prove myself”, “get it right”, and “I am my grade” which creates constant pressure and toxic stress.
