Animal Waste Storage - planning, design, management, construction, decommissioning.
Conservation Project Cost Sharing - design and funding assistance to rural landowners
Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) - assists in removing land from production in exchange for an annual rental rate.
Eau Claire River Watershed Coalition - a stakeholder group working to improve water quality in the watershed.
Erosion Control and Storm Water - providing education, implementing county ordinance, working to keep waterways clean and clear.
Farmland Preservation Program - Farmers who meet conservation standards may be eligible to claim annual state income tax credits.
Groundwater Protection - a stakeholder group working to improve groundwater quality in Eau Claire County.
Land Stewardship - framework to facilitate the protection and preservation of land tracts within Eau Claire County.
Nutrient Management (NRCS 590) - defined by 4 R's: Right Amount, Right Source, Right Placement, and Right Timing.
Shoreland Restoration - working with shoreland owners to improve their properties to improve water quality.
Tree and Shrub Sales - In 30 years of annual tree sales, Eau Claire County LCD has sold over 1 Million trees!
Wetland Regulations - assist with questions regarding wetlands.
Wildlife Damage & Claims - provides damage prevention assistance and partial compensation to farmers when wild deer, bear, Canadian geese and turkeys damage their agricultural crops.
Wisconsin Deer Donation - venison will be distributed to charitable organizations to help feed Wisconsin's needy.
Youth Education - helps educate the youth of the area on conservation issues through events like the Land Judging Competition and the Poster & Speaking Contest.
