|About||The Embassy advances the interests of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the People's Republic of China, and in other states to which it is accredited.|
The Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the People’s Republic of China was officially opened on February 26, 2014, by the Honourable Kamla Persad-Bissessar, then Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Embassy is also accredited to the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Republic of the Philippines.
The Embassy processes applications for Trinidad and Tobago visas made by Chinese and other foreign nationals, and facilitates applications for renewals of machine-readable Trinidad and Tobago passports for nationals of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
The Embassy provides consular services to nationals of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago residing in the People’s Republic of China, as well as the countries under the Embassy’s accreditation.
The Embassy provides support to Trinidad and Tobago business interests in doing business in the People’s Republic of China, and vice versa.
