The Emmanuel United Baptist Church history is still unfolding & the best is yet to come. The following account of the short history of Emmanuel begins after much prayer, the holy spirit led Rev. Carvin Cook to step out on faith to plant a new church. Therefore, on June 4, 1994, a small group met in the house of Rev. Cook to pray & to join in the planting of a new church. The saints testified to how GOD had blessed them & given them the vision to join in the awesome task of organizing & planting a new church. The first meeting was truly filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
On October 2,1994, the Emmanuel United Baptist Church was formally organized as a new church.
