Erasmus Student Network SGH was established in 1998 by a group of motivated students, who enjoyed helping people coming to SGH for exchange.
1. Developing section members.
In ESN SGH members can gain valuable project management and team working experience. In order
to provide the highest standards in 4 national and over 10 local big-scale projects we organize, it
is essential for the team members to constantly develop their soft and analytical skills in fields like
presentation, marketing, PR, fundraising, HR, planning, budgeting and many more. If someone has an
idea, vision and motivation, he can run his own initiative and we provide him with help and guidance,
all of ESN’s projects were created this way.
2. Promoting exchange programs and hosting international guests.
We organize events aimed at providing information about possible exchange programmes and
encourage students to gain invaluable experience abroad. For foreigners we organize orientation
weeks and provide them with mentors helping making first steps in Poland. We also entertain
exchange students organizing various events, sport and cultural activities in order to foster
integration between them and local community.
3. Organization growth
It is very important for us to ensure that our work will create even greater impact in the future.
We accumulate experience within organization, every next edition of our projects is made better
and on the bigger scale - if we cannot develop them more at our university, we go national or even
international. Our most important asset are people that want to create a long-lasting positive change
in the surrounding world – thanks to their commitment, ESN SGH continues to grow, aspiring to
excellence at everything we do.
