Thank you for liking our page. As our community is growing, we feel it's time to restate our moderation policy for comments on the page. The first thing to say is that we are very happy to see all political views represented on this page - this reflects the very nature of a parliament, which is about diversity of opinion. We hope you keep on commenting, but please remember the following simple rules.
We want our page to be a space where everyone, regardless of country or political persuasion, feels comfortable to participate. To ensure this
We cannot accept comments that are either offensive in themselves or clearly offensive to other users. Therefore, we ask you to avoid obscenities and other insulting language, to show respect for fellow users, public figures and the fundamental principles we all share (you know what we mean: no racism, xenophobia, calls to violence, discrimination based on religion, ethnic origin, gender, age, language, intemperate, or provocative messages...) Comments that are defamatory, unlawful or include copyright infringements are also against our rules. We will delete these types of comments and we may ban users who keep on using offensive language, as well as people impersonating public figures or using fake accounts.
It is also not acceptable to repeatedly target other users, for example by responding to their comments in a way that could make them feel uncomfortable. Also it is not done to consistently seek out people you disagree with and attack their ideas in a response to their comments on our page. We always welcome debate, but it is important to remain respectful to other users and focus on arguments, not personal attacks.
Out of respect for World War II victims and veterans we will also remove comments referring to Nazis, the Soviet Union, Hitler or Stalin.
