About Evangelism Explosion Uganda
Evangelism Explosion Uganda is a non-profit, multi-denominational, mission organization that partners with local churches, organizations, schools, prisons, Refugee Camps and also with individuals to train/equip their leaders to share their faith in Christ with others in a friendly, non-confrontational manner, and to assist people who are searching for a faith.

Evangelism Explosion Uganda(EEU)'s operations is dependent upon our Lord’s grace and the grants, donations and gifts of His people that share EE concerns for the bodily, livelihood, emotional, social, and spiritual state of mankind in our Nation and the World.
Mission
To glorify God by equipping believers to multiply in and through local churches worldwide—for friendship, evangelism, discipleship, and healthy growth.
Description
Evanelism Explosion was founded in 1962 by Dr. D. James Kennedy, former pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, began the Evangelism Explosion ministry in his church. The Lord used the EE ministry to increase the church’s membership from 17 to over 2000 in a very short period. As others heard of this ministry, the desire for training grew so that in 1967 the first Leadership Training Clinic (LTC) was held at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. In a short time it was necessary to hold LTC’s at churches in other cities.

In 1970, EE was incorporated with its own staff and international, interdenominational Board of Directors. As it spread to other countries, EE materials were translated into other languages. By 1984, more training clinics were conducted overseas than were held in the U.S.

By early 1996, EE had been planted in all 211 nations of the world. Materials have been translated into more than 100 different languages and clinics have been held in many nations. Even though Dr. Kennedy went home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2007, the ministry of EE has continued to grow. There is still much work to be done developing national leadership and establishing strong, indigenous ministries in every nation.
