|About||The FACE Program is a collaborative community outreach program created to offer free assistance and resources to parents and families in our community.|
|Mission||Our goal is to provide a vibrant hub for our community with a safe campus being open morning, afternoon, evenings, weekends and into the summer. This would provide us multiple opportunities to alleviate barriers to students’ success by aligning our school with community resources. The school will be open extended hours from 3pm to 7pm in order to provide additional family support. Through our family support services, children and their families will be linked to a range of services that foster individual well-being and also engage parents to improve academic achievement. Parent supports could include workshops to support parenting and a variety of educational courses to help parents learn about the curriculum and help their child succeed at each grade level.|
We are pleased to inform you that School 45-Mary McLeod Bethune Community School and the Center For Youth are partnering to create a new community-centered program. Our Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Program connects ALL members of our community to helpful resources throughout the City of Rochester, such as job training, financial literacy, free family events and volunteer opportunities.
