Mission We are dedicated to support local food production system, enable communities to enjoy locally grown fresh produce, build a healthier community and an environment that fosters social interactions, and lastly promoting a just and sustainable food system.
Description Farmily was founded by John Tay in year 2011 during his course of study in entrepreneurship in Republic Polytechnic.

Farmily is an agricultural social enterprise using natural traditional and aqua-culture farming method with no chemical fertilizer and pesticide. As a social enterprise, Farmily aim to address two social ground issues particularly on elderly job shortage and health (Physical & Mental).

Our Brand Meaning - Farmily 家和农

The Chinese character 和 (hé) stands for harmony or peace and is also a conjunction in Chinese that is equivalent to “and” in English.

Farmily 家和农 exist for the people and environment. We aim to create harmonious balance between nature and humankind. Create sustainability for the environment and people relationship.

The fundamental purpose of our business is to provide our customers with fresh organic vegetables without being contaminated with harmful pesticides and fertilizers

Who are we hiring?
We aim to hire more senior citizens to work with us in our mission to grow high-quality chemical free food.

Their jobs will allow them to draw closer to nature, enjoy the privileges of fresh organic vegetables in their daily meals, keep in social connections, having their time spent in a meaningful and purposeful manner. And most importantly, earn their living in the most dignified way.

A few chinese idioms with Chinese character '和' -

和為貴 (hé wéi guì) : states that harmony is most precious—a core concept in traditional Chinese culture.

心平氣和 (xīn píng qì hé) describes a peaceful heart and mind.
