|About||FARSB began in 1980 in response to increasing concerns about the dual problems of hunger and food waste in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.|
|Mission||Alleviate hunger in the Inland Empire.|
Feeding America Riverside San Bernardino (FARSB) is a 501(C)3 non-profit non-denominational organization that serves both the Riverside and San Bernardino Counties (also referred to as the Inland Empire). There are over 800,000 people who are food insecure in the IE, with many of those people being children.
FARSB, through its partnership with over 400 local nonprofits, distributes over 2 million pounds of food per month to the community.
Although FARSB is part of the Feeding America network, we are an independent entity and rely solely on the generosity and support of our local community to fund our daily operations.
Help us to reach our mission of ending hunger in the IE! Please consider making a donation at www.feedingamericaIE.org or volunteering your time. Your generosity truly makes a difference in the lives of our neighbors.
|Products||We solicit and coordinate donations, grants, fundraising, food drives, food rescue, gleaning and volunteers to supply food, education and advocacy for the hungry through non-profit partners. We constantly seek innovative and cost-effective ways to reach more people.|
