|About||FertilityCare Choices helps women and couples learn and appreciate their fertility by using the Creighton Model Fertility Care System.|
|Mission||Our mission is to empower women by teaching them how to monitor, maintain and evaluate their own gynecological and reproductive health.|
FertilityCare™ Choices is the local affiliate of the FertilityCare™ Centers of America that serves the Syracuse area. FertilityCare™ is a term that identifies those professional services and centers offering the Creighton Model System and NaProTechnology. These two areas of service address issues of fertility and infertility in a comprehensive and integrated way. Fertility appreciation is the core principle and foundation of the Creighton Model. It provides the couple with the opportunity to mutually value, respect and understand their fertility. Fertility is understood as a normal, healthy process-not a disease. Therefore, our approach is not to suppress or control fertility , but rather unleash the power of the naturally occurring cycle.
NaproTechnology is an approach to managing women's reproductive and gynecologic disorders. It works cooperatively with a women's reproductive system to correct a variety of underlying disorders. All medical interventions seek to identify the underlying cause of a women's reproductive health difficulties and to correct these abnormalities, restoring her health and reproductive function. With NaproTechnology's use of cutting edge science, women can restore and maintain their fertility. By learning to carefully observe the natural signs a woman's body produces to indicate the presence or absence of fertility on any given day of her cycle, a couple is able to use this knowledge to make choices about whether they want to be open to co-creating a new life or whether they want to avoid/delay a pregnancy. Once they have the knowledge of how to 'read' and interpret their fertility, the choice is theirs. We are here to assist couples in growing in this knowledge and empowering them to make those choices together
