The marriage of Latin and Asian food started with the migration of Asians into Latin America in the 19th century. The merging of these two cultures formed a lifelong relationship of unexpected flavors and crave-able foods. Both cultures cook with chili peppers; fresh abundant vegetables, deep flavored sauces, and slowly cooked meats. Both Latin and Asian food has a great balance of sweet and savory that tames the spicy elements of the chili pepper.
Both cultures have a tradition of street food where merchants make simple and flavorful food quick and inexpensive. Our goal is to replicate this in an informal, relaxing, environment that breaks culinary borders. Today most Latin/ Asian restaurants are primarily upscale but our mission is to deliver you a delicious authentic meal for less than it would cost you to make it yourself.
We believe in authenticity and integrity of food, so we keep this alive in the way we cook our food for you. We prepare all of our sauces and dressings in our kitchen every single day. All of our meats are slow roasted in our ovens, we prepare the marinades used to season our meats, our vegetables are cut fresh daily, and our desserts are prepared each morning.
