Mission The mission of the program is to enhance the quality and quantity of services available to victims of sex trafficking through the provision of victim services, trained advocacy, public media outreach and education, community collaborations.
Description EAST provides comprehensive case management services to all Native America/Alaskan Native victims of sex trafficking- including women, men, youth 13 and up and LGBTQ who are currently living in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the surrounding Tribal communities. In addition to case management, the program engages in weekly community outreach, promotes awareness through presentations to families, health care providers and communities to educate on the issues of sex trafficking. To ensure a comprehensive service system to meet the needs of our clients EAST can also provide victim advocacy services and referrals to outside community partners.
