Mission Our mission is to help people achieve their fitness goals, especially those who are tired of trying different methods and give them a personaised fitness and nutrition plan designed specifically for their body needs based on their clinical (genetic/blood/hormone) findings. Fitness for Mind also aims to create awareness about how being mindful of body senses while performing and exercise is immensly important in achieving desired outcome. This approach of fitness training has been proven to be immensly helpful in coping with various mental health issues like stress, depression, and PTSD. 
Description The concept was founded and developed by Dr Umesh Wadhavani in early half of 2015. Umesh has always be passionate about living and promoting a healthy lifestyle. After finishing his medicine in India, he came to the UK to pursue his masters in health care management. After successful completion of his masters he started managing a residential trauma centre where he still works as Fitness Consultant. While managing the residential clinic he learnt a lot of things but most importantly the importance of Mindfulness in treating mental health issues. He started combining principles of fitness and mindfulness in helping the clinic clients with their health and fitness goals. He noticed that mindful fitness training brought significant changes in their healing process. These results made him think about pursuing fitness training as a career goal. In March 2014 he decided to get a qualification in Personal training and nutrition. After getting his Fitness Training accreditation, he started working with clients on more regular basis. This brought him to the concept of Fitness for Mind – fitness training for mental health and well-being. After training significant number of clients, he hit a roadblock where he realised that not all the training methods can be applicable to everyone and that was the reason why he couldn’t get desired results in few of his clients. He then started researching more about fitness diagnostics and once he got the correct knowledge of the field he merged that with his concept of fitness for mind. From here after fitness for mind was not only for the mental health clients, it could be applicable to anyone who are passionate and dedicated for the fitness but not getting desired results because of trying the training methods which were not designed for their physique or their physique was genetically not responsive to the training methods that they were trying.
