Three years ago after years of suffering my own personal health battles and living with the rewards and challenges that children with Autism and ADHD bring daily, changing my family’s lifestyle to improve mental and physical health became a priority. So I decided to be courageous, took a leap of faith, followed my dreams and worked hard to turn my passion for good health: MIND, BODY & SOUL, into a career I love doing everyday, not only to help my family but other families as well.
As a mum of 4 beautiful children aged 6, 12, 14 and 16, it was important to me, to show them you can achieve anything in life, no matter the challenges you face. That following your dreams, being totally you and having faith in yourself is more important than money and material possessions. It helps that I have an amazingly supportive family and friend network, who have believed, encouraged, supported and helped me on the journey to realising my dreams.
So with that love, support, belief and faith, FLOURISHING FAMILIES HOLISTIC NUTRITION was born!
As I bring my clinic to life over the next few months, I’ll be using this page to share my knowledge, recipes, hints, tips, articles and anything I think would be helpful to families in their quest for flourishing health. What is Holistic Nutrition?
Holistic Nutrition is a whole body approach to health and wellbeing, incorporating how we nourish our bodies with food, movement, mindset, self-belief and the environment in which we live. Overall health and wellbeing can only be achieved when all our body systems work together to influence emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health, so it is vital to look at all aspects of health to achieve balance.
