We run several regular community recreational dances, designed for levels of dance experience from beginner through more advanced. We also host several annual special events and occasional workshops, concerts, and parties. We offer instrumental and singing workshops at our camps and in our International Music Club.
The Folk Arts Center may be best known outside New England for our popular Pinewoods camp week and weekend, or for a special event like Balkan Music Night that draws crowds from farther away. Whether you're looking for a quiet music jam, a fast-paced and challenging dance, or a party with a little bit of everything, the odds are we have programs you'll be interested in.

Last but not least, if you hate leaving the dance floor and would love to take some of that music home, our "Little Shop of Horas" has a broad selection of folk and folk-influenced music, including independent labels and hard-to-find albums.
