About Foursquare Gospel Church Ipoh
Foursquare Gospel Church Ipoh cover
Mission Go and make disciples of all nations.
Description We are affiliated to "The Foursquare". The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (The Foursquare Church) is "foursquare" in the full meaning of the word: "firm, steady, unswerving, and marked by boldness and conviction." Our firm stand pertains to the elements of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We stress a thoroughgoing proclamation of the Word of God, emphasizing the four essential ministries of the Lord Jesus, and each of those ministries as is represented on the Foursquare logo:
Jesus Christ the Savior - The Cross
Jesus Christ the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit - The Dove
Jesus Chrst the Healer - The Cup
Jesus Christ the Coming King - The Crown

The Foursquare Church exists to glorify God and advance His kingdom. Jesus Christ's command is to preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations (Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19). She had traveled from the East Coast to Los Angeles in 1918—along with her mother, two young children and a secretary—at a time when women could not even vote. By the time the Nineteenth Amendment (which gave women the right to vote) passed in August 1920, she was gaining world renown as an evangelist.
