Fox Wood is a beautiful campsite situated at the bottom of a wooded valley within the South Downs National Park.
The campsite is located within a 35 acre private woodland and each of the pitches has their own fire pit area with log seats. No cars are allowed within the woodland (all vehicles to be parked at reception please). 4x4 wheeled trollies are available from reception (no charge) to help move your tents and bits to and from your pitch. Or ask a site staff member to run your gear to your pitch for a small charge in our site vehicle.
Being off grid our toilets are composting and water is pumped from an underground well. Our toilets can be found in a purpose built modern block (5 girls & 3 boys) where we also have 2 gas powered showers.
Don’t forget your walking boots or mountain bike!! Access to the great outdoors is literally on our doorstep (a public footpath 10 steps across the lane from our woodland entrance) and 1300 acres of Angmering Park woodland footpaths and bridleways to explore within 500 meters of the campsite entrance.
There are also three pubs within walking distance serving great food and providing gardens with play areas for your smaller campers.
Look them up for reviews:
The Fox pub - 5 minutes walk (along lane)
The Worlds End - 15 minutes walk (along footpath by a back road)
The Woodmans Arms - 20 minutes walk (across fields)
Come for a visit on your next camping break and find our secret hide-away in the woods.
