Franklin Area Survival Center includes a low-cost thrift store that funds our food pantry which serves residents of Franklin County Massachusetts.
The mission of the center is to provide free food to needy individuals and families in the Franklin County Area. We operate a thrift shop (clothing, household items, furniture and other necessities which are sold at a reasonable cost), which finances our food pantry and is open to the general public. In an emergency, such as a fire or flood, the center will supply food and clothing free of charge. We also assist women and their children who have been relocated due to domestic violence.
The Franklin Area Survival Center operates the local food pantry and serve the entire Franklin County consisting of 24 towns. We also operate a thrift store onsite to help finance the food pantry.
The Franklin Area Survival Center received a state citation in 2011 for 30 years of community service. It was presented to us by State Senator Stanley Rosenberg.
Our food pantry distributes food to the clients. Our thrift store offers furniture, household items, clothing, toys, electronics, televisions, baby items, shoes, and much, much, more. We encourage everyone to shop often. Your purchases are tax deductible and help finance our food pantry.
