|About||Gamma Medica, Inc., is committed to making molecular breast imaging (MBI) more widely available as a diagnostic tool in the battle against breast cancer.|
|Mission||Gamma Medica, Inc., located in the southern New Hampshire area, is dedicated to the development of advanced digital imaging technologies that address the growing importance of overcoming the critical shortcomings of mammography and other screening modalities in the early detection of breast cancer. The company designs, engineers, manufactures and markets the LumaGEM® MBI system, the first commercially available, FDA-cleared planar, dual head, fully solid-state digital imaging system utilizing cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) technology for molecular breast imaging.|
Welcome to the new Gamma Medica! We have many exciting changes to tell you about, including some important product improvements that we will be unveiling over the next few months.
What is unchanged is our commitment to making molecular breast imaging (MBI) more widely available as a diagnostic tool in the battle against breast cancer. A patient-friendly exam with LumaGEM MBI can change the outlook for women whose early stage tumors may go undetected or unconfirmed with a mammogram.
Gamma Medica has always had superb technology. Now we are building a much stronger company to support our growing customer base.
We have assembled one of the strongest management teams that brings a range of experience working with the largest healthcare manufacturers in the world and successful new ventures.
Recently, we moved our headquarters to southern New Hampshire. Our new 12,000 square foot facility brings together R&D, engineering, regulatory, customer support, sales, marketing and manufacturing on one campus. We have made the strategic decision to keep LumaGEM manufacturing in the U.S. to ensure control over every aspect of our assembly and quality processes.
We look forward to many conversations with you about molecular breast imaging and future advances in women’s healthcare.
