The beautiful library at the heart of the Rosemont College campus.
As the original academic building on campus, the Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library has been serving the Rosemont community since 1926. Library Services, consisting of the Executive Director, the staff and professional librarians, supports the mission of the College by integrating information throughout the institution. The Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library, as the information center of the College, provides to all users ready access to information resources to help develop the strengths and abilities they require to respond to the needs and challenges of the times, while facilitating the implementation of the technology that enables them to experience the excellence and joy of knowledge.
Founded in 1925 and expanded several times since, beautiful Kistler Library is the heart of Rosemont's campus. The most recent renovation added the Remembering Sr. Helen Mary Weisbrod, SHCJ Information Commons to the main floor, which includes Eleanor's Cafe, group study rooms, and several new computer workstations: making the library an up-to-date and comfortable place to meet and study.
