Most of us are so used to a certain way of life because that's how we grew up & we rarely question it. In February of 2017, I started questioning it thanks to my oldest daughter who started sending me documentaries to watch regarding Whole Food Plant Based eating (WFPB eating) and it's benefits in comparison to animal based eating.
After watching numerous documentaries and doing my own further research on WFPB eating, I made the switch in March 2017 to Vegetarian and in May 2017, I switched completely to WFPB eating. I can't BELIEVE it has taken me 39 years of my life to ask questions & be more concerned about the foods I was putting into my body and their effect on me. WFPB eating has quickly become a passion of mine and I want to share it with as many people as possible - thus the start of Get Forked.
My goal is to open up a Pure Plant Based Goodness Café but for now, I am happy to offer Vegan Baking & Delicious Vegan food through delivery or pick up (starting in the month of December!). I will complete my certification in Plant Based Nutrition in mid December so that I can help others discover Plant Based eating as well as a Plant Based Nutrition Coach.
I am incredibly excited to be continuing on my WFPB journey and to share it with all of you and help you see that there is a better way to live and a much better way to care for the temple that is your body.
