About Graduate Students for Gerontology (GSG) is a University of Nevada, Reno student club utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to aging.

Mission Our mission is to engage people in the topic of aging and to serve the community through advocacy, research, & special events
Description We bring together various disciplines including psychology, education, public health, social work, and social psychology.

Our intent is to develop conversations about aging such as what it means to age and social perspectives of aging through student engagement and community outreach.

We will be changing our meeting dates to the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings at 5pm, Graduate Student Reading Room at the Knowledge Center on the University of Nevada, Reno campus.

The 2nd Thursday of each month will be a Journal Session Dialogue where journal articles will be discussed. October 9 will be our first and the session will focus on defining future sessions.

The 4th Thursday of each month will be our business meeting.
