Grapefruit is an independent and locally owned apparel and living store in downtown Toronto. We are located in the heart of Toronto's LGBT+ village. We are primarily a men's clothing store, but also have personal care goods, homewares, fragrances, greeting cards, safety razors and shaving supplies. sunglasses and fun stuff like adult party games, puzzles. We stock current season trending clothing with six fashion releases a year. In addition to this we have items we carry year round like graphic T-shirts, denim 3 different cuts/styles, 5 colours, chinos in 4 colours. The denim and chinos are all carried in length 30", 32", 34" and one of the denim cuts 36". We have our own in house clothing line of basics aptly called Gbasics (tees, tanks, sweatpants and shorts and hoodies. Gbasics is fully made in Toronto, the fabric is made, dyed, cut sewn and printed in Toronto in a sustainable environmentally and socially responsible factory. We have a good selection of socks and underwear including jocks and thongs, carry swimwear year round. The clothing ranges from casual wear to smart dress wear and business wear including blazers and dress pants. We also sell jackets and coats made for the Toronto winter. Price point in the store is from mid range to mid high range. Although we are a men's store all are welcome there is plenty for everyone regardless of gender expression. We are a safe and welcoming space for everyone. We are a part of the LGBT+ community and are proud to be but we wouldn't want it to be a big focus of our marketing, We need a broader appeal , but of course still need to attract LGBT+ tourists would be great, however we want a broader appeal. but we do not want it to be the main focus. Our business style is what I would call a return to classic retailing with personalized service and attention to detail.
