GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
To reduce the suspension and drop-out rates among our youth and re-connect the high school drop-outs back into the educational system.
To provide support for single teen parents.
To provide parents with quality and a safe environment which will allow students to complete their school assigned work while building trusting relationships.
To assist our youth in learning how to effectively apply behavioral skills that will help them make healthier decisions, which will in turn, create effective leaders.
To teach parents how to evaluate changes in their youth(s) and apply the learned skills.
To establish a collaborative community support system, a new concept, and a viable way to provide trained manpower.
To provide the knowledge and skills necessary in working with our youth in GLOF programs.
To provide our youth with an assessment questionnaire that will help to ascertain their interests and give us insight into their future goals.
|Founded||GLOF is an incorporated, charitable, non-profit 501 (c)(3) Faith-Based Community Youth and Family Organization established in 2003. GLOF was incorporated in 2006 and attained non-profit status in 2007.|
