Handmade Polymer clay pieces including some jewellery. Will take commissions.
I started making jewellery after attending a beginners silver class, about 10 years ago,at the Mill Arts Centre in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The teacher was Rosie Colvin and she was fantastic and really opened up my eyes to the wonderful world of 'creativity. I made a few pieces in silver but never quite felt I would excell enough to 'my expectations, then quite by accident I watched a YouTube video on polymer clay and the teacher was Teresa Salgado, known as Teresa 'Pandora Salgado and believe me she is an inspiration and a fantastic artist. Well I have moved on quite a bit since then, although I am now in touch with Teresa and other brilliant, and wonderful artists from all over the world on practically a daily basis, and I have attended the brilliant Polymer Clay Virtual Retreat that was started by Ilysa Ginsburg and Kira Slye and if anyone wants to dabble in this wonderous craft then for $99 about £70 for a whole years worth of tutorials and more (works out to about £2 for each of the 24 tutorials) this is where to start, online at your own pace absolutely no obligations and the font of knowledge and help from some truly fantastic teachers is priceless, absolutely brilliant value for money. The possibilities with polymer clay is in my mind endless so I will always be learning a new technique or refining one, as you can probably tell I LOVE this medium and will keep progressing for as long as I possibly can.
