We are breeders of gray alpacas. We love our "babies" and the wonderful fleece they produce. Most of our fleece is turned into yarn and some into roving.
While we do not have a farm, as yet, we are breeders of grey alpacas. Our alpacas residents of nearby breeder's farms. We also hope to have a webpage up soon. Alpacas are similar to Llamas and both come from South America. Alpaca fleece is highly prized as a premium fiber for knitters and clothing manufacturers as it is a hollow fiber (great insulator without a lot of weight), very, very soft and most people are not allergic to it. They are also have wonderful personalities and are very curious. They do not generally spit and have a pleasant temperament. They are very easy to care for and adapt well to most any climate and temperature. They are shorn once a year and the fleece can be used for any number of things from rugs, to felting, spinning and clothing. Alpacas come in 22 natural colors and the fleece can easily be dyed most any color as well. We welcome inquiries regarding our alpacas, yarn, roving and raw fleeces, all of which are available for sale.
