Description Heidi was born in 1969 in Augsburg, Germany and moved to the United States when she was a child. She was raised by her grandparents and was taught oil painting at a very young age. Horses are her passion and from the age of three, she was drawing pictures of the horses that her grandparents owned.

She trained under Disney artists and art directors at the Connecticut Institute of Art in Greenwich, Connecticut.

In 1996, Heidi entered the Vermont Duck Stamp Competition to create a duck stamp for the state of Vermont. She placed second runner-up in the competition and her artwork was on exhibit at the State House in Montpelier,Vermont for three months.

In 2004, Heidi illustrated a book titled “A Cat Tale in Spiceville” written by Ed Aswad. Her illustrations were exhibited at the Brunelli Art Gallery in Binghamton, New York.DSC03411

In 2005, Heidi entered a Juried Art Competition entitled “Arts for the Parks”. Out of 3400 entries from around the world, her painting of a steam train from Steam Town National Historic Park in Scranton, Pennsylvania was one of the top 100 finalists and was exhibited for three months at the Jackson Hole Lodge in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Her “Gallery By the Brook” in her home contains all aspects of her art from pastels and water colors to oil on canvas.

Heidi lives in Northumberland, New Hampshire with her husband and three very spoiled horses.
