Helena Baptist Church cover
Mission Helena Baptist Church exists to produce passionate followers of Jesus.
Description We want your life to be full... full of passion, full of peace, full of purpose. We want your life to be filled with all the things God desires for you. We are convinced that this happens only as we become passionate followers of Jesus.

Core Values - These are the things we hold dear and by which we measure everything else we do at HBC.

Carry the gospel to the entire world. In acts Jesus charged His church with the task of telling His story to everyone in the world. Sharing with people how much Jesus loves them and funding efforts around the world that share His Love is something we hold precious.

Laugh, we Lean on and Love one another. People aren't looking for friendly churches, people are looking for friends. We strive to be a group of people that make good friends. We intentionally plan opportunities where people can forge new friendships and deepen existing ones.

Instruction from God's word. Here at HBC practical, useful and engaging teaching is a must. God's word has the power to change us, for the better. This truth only applies if God's word is made available to us. As one member put it, "Our pastors work hard to put things on the bottom shelf so that we all can reach it." We want you to leave with something that you can use at home, at work or at play.

Magnify Christ in worship. There are no superstars at HBC. Our staff and our leadership are regular people who love Jesus. It is the desire of each of them to put the spotlight on Jesus, to lift Him up so He can draw all men to Himself.

Bear one another's burdens. Life is difficult sometimes. Heartaches come and tragedy strikes and sometimes temptation beats at our door non-stop. In God's word we are told to help each other carry their load to bear each other's burdens.
