|About||We are here to improve the quality of time remaining in a patient's life when cure is no longer possible or desired.|
Our services are to assist the patient and family in coping with the physical, emotional, social, financial, and spiritual aspects of terminal illness.
Emphasis is on quality of life for the patient which is achieved through aggressive symptom management, palliative medical care rather than life prolonging measures, when a physician diagnosis that curative treatment is no longer feasible.
The needs of the patient, family, or caregivers are considered on an individual basis, and are supported by a trained team of professionals, and volunteers.
The supportive needs of the family do not end with the death of the individual; bereavement support continues for a year.
