In 2017 Helsinki City Marathon, the best known and largest marathon event in Finland, will be organised on 12 August. Clean Northern air, safe surrounding and friendly people wait for you! The route is ran in two laps for the third time. The unique Scandinavian atmosphere makes HCM an event every runner should experience, at least once!
The marathon starts close to the Olympic Stadium. The scenic and versatile route goes along the coast of Helsinki, passes the Market Square at about half way, crosses the center next to main railway station, House of Parliament and Finlandia Hall and finishes at the Sonera Stadium.
The estimated number of participants is 5,000, around 1,500 of whom come from all over the world.
