We make dining at The Horse & Jockey a great experience and have a mouth-watering ‘racing’ themed menu for you to choose from. We offer a selection of locally sourced food for you to enjoy along with our Chef’s daily specials.
On a Sunday, we serve a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings until 4pm plus our normal menu is available until 9pm

The Horse & Jockey is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy your favourite tipple with great food and company.
We offer a menu packed full of mouth-watering dishes and daily specials– all our meals are cooked to order and prepared from fresh seasonal produce to create a variety of tempting dishes for you to enjoy.
A fantastic Sunday lunch is available every week with a choice of roasts and the freshest of local produce to accompany it. If you would like to join us for Sunday lunch please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
We also have a fabulous wine list and great quality cask ales for you to savour. We take great pride in our draught beers and cask ales and we endeavour to serve you with a perfect pint every time.
In the summer months we have a great outside area which is the perfect place to enjoy your favourite tipple and a fabulous meal.
We have four quality Bed & Breakfast rooms, named after famous racecourses, which offer comfortable en-suite accommodation.
There is ample parking on site and the price includes home-made English style breakfast and a choice of breakfast cereal. All our rooms have tea & coffee making facilities and television.
