|About||Welcome to Hotel Endsleigh - a perfect escape on the edge of one of the greatest unspoilt natural areas left in England - Dartmoor.|
Dating from 1810, Endsleigh was built by Georgina, Duchess of Bedford and her sons as a shooting and fishing lodge. The family owned a third of Devon at the time and decided this was the prettiest place in the county to build.
Rescued from decay in 2005, Olga Polizzi and her daughter, Alex, have turned Endsleigh into a highly acclaimed and luxuriously intimate hotel set in over 100 acres of landscaped grounds. The restaurant is open to non residents, the hotel retains a relaxed, unstuffy and informal appeal and we welcome children and dogs.
|Description||Olga Polizzi's beautifully restored country house hotel, situated on the Devon/Cornwall border overlooking 108 acres of woodland gardens and the stunning Tamar Valley. Come and stay the night, the weekend, or bring your friends and family for a celebration weekend, party or wedding and have the whole place to yourself with one of our exclusive use packages. We are also open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner to non-residents and our gardens are open to the public year round. Call us on 01822 870 000 to check availability.|
