Opened in the 1950's as a social club for the working men at Simonstone in Padiham, Mullards quickly became a popular club for the working man. Surviving two fires, the first in 70's and the second in the 80's, the Mullards officially reopened as the 'Ighten Leigh Social Club' on the 20th of November 1987 by ex MP Mr Pike.

The Pool, Darts and Snooker area is a part of the downstairs floor which has also been newly refurbished.
