|About||Fox Wood Forest School provides exciting opportunities for children to explore the great outdoors. It is run by Ange and Lou, both qualified forest school leaders with experience and qualifications in child care and teaching.|

I'm a mother of three, a teacher and a forest school leader. I am passionate about giving children the opportunity to learn through free play in exciting outdoor environments. I run forest school sessions with schools, nurseries and plans are underway to set up a parent and toddler group at Thornham Walks.
I taught for seven years mostly in Norfolk, although I loved the buzz and excitement of working with children I was frustrated by the constraints of the school curriculum, so after a break to have children I decided to explore other avenues.
I volunteered for Suffolk Wildlife Trust's educational team and discovered Forest School. At the age of 41 I finally found what I wanted to do! I completed my level 3 Forest School leaders training and set up Into the Wild Wood.
What I love most about Forest School is seeing children gain confidence, resilience and independence. It is a thrill to watch the determination on their faces as they persevere with something challenging and to see the pride and smiles of joy when they finally succeed. Providing children with a rich play environment and then watching as they become totally absorbed is a joy and a privilege.
