Description
We provide assessments, consultations, specialized therapies, and learning support for children from birth until adulthood. Our philosophy is to provide services based on an interdisciplinary approach in treatment and tutoring tailored to the individual needs of each child. Our services include:

Speech Therapy: We work on language stimulation as well as the production of speech. Therapy objectives vary according to the individual’s needs and abilities. Sessions are performed individually or in small groups. Speech and language therapy plans focus on improving the following skill areas:
Receptive Language
Expressive Language
Pragmatic or Social Skills
Articulation
Oral Motor Skills
Feeding Skills
Fluency
Voice

Feeding Therapy: Our Feeding therapy provides multidisciplinary specialized services to address feeding difficulties as a result of a variety of challenges including: fussy eating, sensory sensitivities, restricted diets, medical issues and behavioral difficulties. Clinicians will also work to develop oral motor skills and self-feeding skills as needed.

Physical Therapy: Our physical therapists help improve strength, ability to move and function. The physical therapists at TRS Learning Center have the expertise and specially sized equipment needed to work with growing children, from the very smallest babies to teen athletes.

Occupational Therapy: We address skill development in an activity-based setting. Sessions are performed individually or in small groups. Consultation with teachers and other therapists is provided to further integrate therapeutic goals into the child’s daily program. Therapeutic intervention is also used to augment the school curriculum to develop those underlying skills important for learning. Such skills include, but are not limited to:
Sensory-motor processing
Visual motor and visual perceptual skills
Fine motor coordination
Gross-motor skills
Activities of daily living
