The Irish Red Cross (IRC) is part of the largest humanitarian society in the world and without the active involvement of volunteers would not be able to carry out its Fundamental Principles. The Irish Red Cross recognises that volunteers are it's most important resource and it is committed to promoting an effective, meaningful and rewarding volunteering experience. Volunteering is a means for an individual or group to put into practice the Red Cross Movements Fundamental Principle of Voluntary Service.
