|Description||Italiano a spicchi School of Italian Language and Culture is a modern school with professionally trained and experienced teachers who offer a wide range of Italian courses. Our school welcomes students of all nationalities who wish to begin, improve, or perfect their knowledge of the Italian language. We tailor our courses to the needs of our students so that satisfaction is assured.|
Courses & Free time
The teaching of the Italian language is the principal activity of the school, organizing language programs according to different types of learning needs. As a necessary complement to the language, the Italiano a spicchi School also wants participants to learn about Italian culture, art, and customs.
The Italian language courses in Palermo, offered in six levels, foster the progressive learning of Italian. Classes are held every day, Monday through Friday, usually in the morning, and favor the use of conversational Italian. The courses are divided into four types:
• Standard Course: Four classes per week of 50 minutes each in which the language is taught in a dynamic setting aimed at developing the four main skills of language (speaking, writing, reading, and listening). Cultural topics discussed will cover a wide range of subjects in Italian culture from several different perspectives.

• Intensive Course: Similar to the normal standard course but with two more lessons in the early afternoon maximum 6 students per class. Total of 20 hours of specialized course. For those who need or wish to explore a particular aspect of Italian language or culture. In particular, these specialized courses include “Italian and Sicilian Cultural Topics,” “Current Issues in Italian Society,” “Italian Literature,” “Sicilian language and Literature,” “Art History,” and any aspect of the four main skills (listening, speaking, reading, or writing) chosen by the student.
