Jay began his formal education at the Aveda Institute of Los Angeles in 2013. His passion for doing hair however, can be traced back to his youth where he started cutting and coloring hair for himself and his friends' at just 15 years old. Jay was born and raised locally here in the South Bay and has worked in the beach cities including Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach since the start of his career in the beauty industry. Jay's clients love how he masterfully marries the 'SoCal beach vibe' with the edginess of the latest LA trends using anything from a natural color palette to a bright vibrant bold palette. His expertise includes men’s, woman’s and kids cuts & color, keratin smoothing treatments and olaplex treatments. Jay's goal is to go beyond every client's expectations within a healthy and realistic timeframe so as to never compromise a client's hair.
