The Jenks Girls Softball Federation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote amateur softball through player education and training. The Federation promotes a positive, safe and drug-free environment for players ages 4 to 14 and their families. JGSF does not discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity, color, national origin, gender, or ability, in any of its educational programs, admissions policies, scholarship programs, Board appointments or community outreach efforts.
JGSF is run by an all-volunteer board of elected representatives who serve one-, two- and three-year terms. JGSF organizes recreational and competitive softball leagues and tournaments from March through October. The tournaments draw players and families across Oklahoma as well as from neighboring states. JGSF league and tournament play is sanctioned by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), the national governing body of softball.
JGSF manages 4 regulation softball fields and 1 T-ball field in Jenks, OK. Operational expenses for the softball park (e.g. utilities, park maintenance, upgrades, player scholarships, hourly labor and umpires) are paid out of player registration and tournament monies. JGSF receives no other grant, city or government funding.
