Locally grown organic foods, a great activity for anyone in the community.
2017 Market Schedule:
Tuesdays, June 13 to mid-October
Sir William Johnson Park
The Johnstown Farmer's Market is managed by the Fulton Montgomery Farmers Market Association (FMFMA), a nonprofit organization formed to bring fresh, local foods to our community. FMFMA runs only 100% producer markets, which means that every vendor grew, raised, or made all the products they offer for sale.
The Johnstown Farmer's Market is open from June through late-September/mid-October. Vendors sell bedding plants, fruits and vegetables (in season), baked goods, snacks, eggs, meats (pork and beef, pasture-raised chicken), and seasonal flowers. Some vendors accept WIC vouchers!
If you are a vendor interested in joining the market, please visit the FMFMA website (http://www.fmfma.org/) and click the Vendor Information tab. Download the Rules and Regulations file and an application, and follow instructions in the file.
The first day of the 2017 season will be Tuesday June 13th, from 3-6 pm.
FMFMA also manages two other local markets: Gloversville Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings at the Elm Street Pavilion and Amsterdam Farmer's Market Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings at their new location. Find their pages on Facebook, too!
