Description {The concept of Joseph's Storage Bin comes from the story in Genesis 45-50 and the precept of helping those in need using available resources stored while times were good. Joseph was able to save those physically and we desire to see people saved spiritually.}

Joseph's Storage Bin is a ministry to the community that will take the blessing of abundance and distribute it for the benefit of all by Empowering those in need, enabling those who want to, and encouraging those who can.
1) Empowering those in need by providing clothing and household items at a reduced price.
2) Enable those in need to deal with and better their circumstances by offering help with budgeting, educating, etc.
3) Engaging those in the community who would like to help those in need.

The budget of the Bin is divided into five areas: Benevolence, Community Offering, Personal Expense, Business Maintenance and HR Ministries General Fund.
1) Benevolence - We will help people of our community by helping with requests for utilities and rent for those in need.
We request that those helped serve with us by volunteering at the Bin. For every $25 of help, we request 1 hour of service. Benevolence will only be given to those we are led to deal with after prayer and personal interview. If those helped refuse to serve, we will not be obligated to help those clients further.
2) Community Offerings - Money collected from sales at the Bin will be distributed to other ministry opportunities in our community as decided by the staff of the Bin. This allows us to give back to the community.
3) Personal Expense - An account set aside for people in need of temporary employment to advance personally. These positions would be part-time for 20-25 hrs per week at minimum wage for 4-6 weeks for people such as ex-offenders, Job Corp students, rehab graduates, and others that have need. An interview
