Description About me
My name is Nikki Ridgment and I have been studying and practicing Chi Kung and Tai Chi for eight years under Master Bob Rose in the Amateur Martial Arts Associations of American Kenpo Union and am authorised to take Kenpo Chi Kung classes. I also have an Award in Education and Training, NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care, Level 3 Certificate in Dementia Care and Certificate in Cognitive Maintenance Stimulation. I treat everyone fairly and with respect and believe that everyone is good at something but not everyone finds their ‘something’ at the same time;
Chi Kung has helped me to understand the need to be aware of the benefits of breathing through different situations life can throw at you. Helping with self- management and stress in a busy world. The health benefits through awareness of body, mind and spiritual aspects helps me to work with different people of all ages and abilities and look for the positivity around us, it can do the same for you.
Chi Kung exercises are the foundation to Tai Chi and the start of a journey which everyone can go on at their own individual pace. I can guide and encourage people, to bring out their potential through learning to relax and become energised.

What is Chi Kung?
Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, gentle exercises, breathing techniques and focused intention. It can be used for health and well-being, spirituality, and martial arts training. It is a great way to learn self-control and build self-confidence too.
Who can learn, practice and do Chi Kung?
Everyone can benefit, regardless of ability, age, belief system or life circumstances.
How and why do you do it?
I have found that people are enabled to relax, de-stress, balance and gain energy from doing the 18 Hand movements of Kenpo Chi Kung.
I demonstrate, lead and enable people to do the exercises of the 18 Hand movements of Chi Kung – Kenpo style.
I play calming music and encourage everyone to have a go
