King Street Progressive Club & Institute was founded in 1932 by Miners and Brick Makers who worked in Aldridge and surrounding areas.
Our club has been a success story in recent times by keeping its doors open while other clubs have been closing. In 2012 King Street Club celebrated its 80th Birthday! With the continued support of our members we hope to keep our club going for many more years to come.
We pride ourselves on being a family club providing entertainment for all generations from our family fun days with game buses, ice cream, burger vans, bouncy castles/mazes, children's entertainer to our live entertainment on selected Saturday nights and our bingo nights on a Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We also have many teams to join including pool, darts and crib.
To join our club it is £10 for an annual membership the first year only, this is to pay for your personal fob to allow you access to the premises, after this the annual membership is £5, if you are not a member you are still very welcome to enjoy our club with the members after you have signed into the visitors book and paid £1.
We have a large concert room with a stage and dance floor, perfect for parties, christenings, funerals, weddings, charity events and many more.
