The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization, open to practicing Catholic men 18 years or older in union with the Holy See. We were founded in 1882 by Fr. Michael J. McGivney, a parish priest in New Haven, CT. We are founded on the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
As the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization, the Knights of Columbus has contributed $1.5 billion and 690 million hours to charitable projects.
Father Michael J. McGivney Council #11376 is located in Bridgton/Fryeburg, Maine. We serve the community with financial aid and volunteer hours. For more information on how to join, please contact us through this page and we will respond promptly.
