We are part of the World’s Largest Men’s Catholic Fraternity with more than 1.8 million members. The Tuscaloosa Knights and Ladies are very active in many local charitable endeavors with the goal to improve the quality of life for the entire Community through the application of our Faith Values. When the Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882, its founder, Fr. Michael McGivney could not have foreseen the global threats to our Christian way of life, but his formula for providing for the common good has demonstrated that the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism, on which our Order was founded, are universal and timeless.
Our Knights Hall, located on the campus of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, provides facilities that allow for a wide range of events to provide for both the business needs and social interaction so vital to a charitable, fraternal organization. Our Council values family, as much as it does fund raisers.
