Printmaking Workshop by artists Dobrawa Bies and Skye Phillips. Calling all creatives that want to learn a new skill or develop their own practice in relief printmaking!
We're offering a 2-hour practical demonstration with all professional chisels and materials such as non-toxic paint, lino and a varied selection of quality papers to experiment with + access to a press!
It's a chance to create your own unique fine art print and we will give you the skills and knowledge to continue your practice in printmaking at home.
Who we are ?
A visual artist (MA degree, Fine Art Academy, Cracow, Poland) and works mainly with traditional printing techniques, ceramic and illustrations. She loves linocuts and huge possibilities of this printing technique. Recently she is exploring possibilities of ceramic clay as printmaking material, with very interesting results.Main subject of her art is abstraction with reference to landscape, environment and self- portrait.
An artist currently working as an artist in residence at the Amsterdam Grafisch Atelier (AGA LAB) - developing a body of recent works that are environmentally conscious with non-toxic techniques and experiments printing with natural pigment. Conceptually driven by exploring themes of place and our relationship with the natural and unnatural world. Working mainly with relief, intaglio printmaking and sculpture. Skye has a BA (Hons), Fine Art Printmaking in Brighton, UK.
