Collecting lifejackets and buoyancy aids from Greek Islands and Mediterranean and recycling them to fishermen on Lake Victoria.
To recycle the discarded Life Jackets/Buoyancy Aids left by refugees fleeing war zones by sea and distribute to fishermen on Lake Victoria, Africa who are at risk of drowning due to adverse conditions on the lake.
Organising the collection and removal of more than 100,000 life jackets and buoyancy aids discarded on the beaches of Aegean Islands and shores around the Mediterranean by refugees and migrants fleeing war zones and poverty. The refurbished life jackets/buoyancy aids will be distributed amongst the fishermen around the shores of Lake Victoria where 5,000 drown every year due to lack of sufficient funding to purchase appropriate safety equipment. In addition to establish small business in safety equipment servicing by local people.
