|About||Holistic massage and Bodywork|
I have always been interested in complimentary therapies, so after 20 years within the arts and raising my family, I decided it was time to follow my passion and train to become a holistic massage and bodywork therapist. Training at the renowned Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork (BCMB) I gained a MTI Level 4 Diploma in Holistic Massage and Bodywork including Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. I continue to build on my training, enabling me to offer clients a wide range of treatments including Indian head massage, lymph drainage, fascial acupressure and deep tissue massage and ear acupuncture.
Holistic massage treats the whole person, taking into account your emotional and spiritual wellbeing as well as your physical body. Therefore, treatments are specifically tailored to your needs. The benefits of massage and body work are wide ranging, working ‘with’ you rather than just giving you a massage ‘to you’. Whether you’re experiencing stress, anxiety and insomnia or ailments such as sciatica, muscles injury or tension, massage can benefit you in many ways. You may just want time and space away from the hustle and bustle of life and much needed ‘you time’. There is no set routine, no same treatment just careful attention. Your first treatment will include a free consultation, where we will discuss together what you would like from the massage, offering you a confidential and supportive environment.
I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Massage Training Institute (MTI).
I work from Widcombe Therapy Rooms, Bath, Bristol College of Massage and Body work and Positive Living Centre, Midsomer Norton. Please call me to arrange an appointment.
